Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team. The Kennel Assistant is a dependable and dedicated individual who will follow our company's policies to ensure that all pets are taken care of appropriately. The Kennel Assistant will work as part of a team to help handle the animals and ensure their safety. The Kennel Assistant will also be responsible for helping walking, feeding and interacting with customers.
Responsibilities:
Feed and water animals.
Clean cages, runs and kennels.
Maintain records of pets, pet owners and medical treatment.
Communicate with clients to ensure their pets' needs are met.
Communicate with co-workers to ensure tasks are accomplished.
It is a requirement for the applicant to have relevant studies in animal management or similar, it is also important for the applicant to have kennel and cattery experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 16 per week
