Care Sante are recruiting for a Care Assistant to join our team based in our extra care scheme at King Edward Court in Herne Bay.

King Edward Court is a supported living scheme where our Care Workers provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.

We currently have a part time position available shifts pattern of:

Week 1

o 16.00 – 20.30 (Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun)

Week 2

o 16.00 – 20.30 (Mon, Tues &Thurs)

Job Description:

Supporting service users with onsite visits to our restaurant, hairdressers and shops.
Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
Support with administrating medication.
Our care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

Have a right to work within the UK
No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
