Position Overview & Specifications
We are currently looking to recruit a Project Draughtsman for our client, a roofing company based in Darlington.
The main duties of the role are to:
Prepare details, plans, sections and general arrangement drawings as required to enable approval, material procurement and installation constraints. For all aspects of roofing and cladding systems.
Be conversant with and apply the requirements of the Internal Q.A. procedures.
Liaise with members of the Design Team to source all necessary information.
Issue drawings and schedule materials as required suiting each specific site program ensuring all key dates given on programme are met.
Essential Criteria:
Must be IT literate (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Proficient in AutoCAD
Desirable Criteria:
Experience of 3D software
Experience in the following systems would be advantageous:
Flat roofing – Single Ply, Hot Melt, Cold applied & Felt
Traditional Hard metal – Fully supported roofing & cladding Inc shingles such as Copper, Zinc and lead.
