Role overview

We are seeking an individual with 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance to oversee the financial operations of Sentinel Capital and Maia Property. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial and reporting responsibilities.

Job Description:

Transaction Support

Liaising with Fund, Property Managers and Asset Managers to understand underlying transactions and ensure appropriate financial operation of the investments
Preparation of accounting memos for Manager’s review based on understanding of key terms of deals
Oversight of the on-boarding of assets

Financial Reporting

Overseeing and managing the company’s accounting function
Ensure timely management of financial reporting across the portfolio
Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of company’s financial records
Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information
Present financial information to senior members of the team
Ensuring accuracy of financial information presented in investor reports
Oversight of fund reporting timetables

Candidate Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and accounting
Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
IT literate and fully proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Attention to detail

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
